The former Arsenal striker has reacted in disbelief to the one-time Tottenham Hotspur manager’s assessment of Eriksen’s situation.

The former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell has reacted in disbelief to Tim Sherwood’s comments about the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen.

Eriksen has allowed his Tottenham contract to enter its final year – a decision which Sherwood told Sky Sports’ The Debate this week is motivated by a desire to win trophies.

But Sherwood, who managed the Dane at White Hart Lane, has warned that he will struggle to increase his chances of doing so by leaving Mauricio Pochettino’s team.

And Campbell, who has retained an allegiance to Arsenal, posted the following tweet upon hearing the former Tottenham manager’s comments this morning:

Tottenham last won a trophy in 2008, but were beaten finalists in last season’s Champions League.

Arsenal have won three FA Cups and three Community Shields this decade alone, although they have finished below Spurs in each of the past three campaigns.

Tottenham fans – what do you make of Sherwood’s comments?
