Everton lost to Liverpool at Anfield in the Merseyside derby on Sunday.

Kevin Campbell has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Everton’s defeat to Liverpool in the Merseyside derby at the weekend.

The Toffees went down 1-0 to Jurgen Klopp’s side away from home at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday evening.

Divock Origi scored the only goal of the match in the sixth minute of injury time with a header from close range, with Jordan Pickford making a massive blunder in goal.

Former Everton striker Campbell was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the defeat for Marco Silva’s side.

Campbell does not seem to blame England international goalkeeper Pickford for the defeat, pointing at Everton’s failure to take their chances instead.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Anfield on Sunday evening, hosts Liverpool had 58% of the possession, took 16 shots of which three were on target, and earned eight corners, according to BBC Sport.
