Tottenham Hotspur will begin the new Premier League campaign without Dele Alli.

Sky Sports pundit Kevin Campbell has expressed his worry at Dele Alli suffering another hamstring injury.
The 23-year-old will miss the start of the new Premier League campaign after suffering the injury during pre-season, as reported by the Guardian.
It seems as though Alli’s club manager, Mauricio Pochettino is a little concerned at him continually suffering these injuries.
These are words echoed by former Everton man Campbell, who told Football Centre on Sky Sports News (05/08/2019 11:20 am) that something needs to be done about Alli’s injury problem.
It’s not very good,” Campbell told Sky Sports. “When you look at the number of hamstring injuries Dele Alli has had, it’s worrying. He’s only 23-years-old and he’s probably had four, five or six hamstring injuries, so that says to me it’s more of a body mechanics issue.
“That’s something that the Tottenham medical staff have to look at because you cannot lose one of your best players so close to the season.”

The setback isn’t what Alli needed ahead of the new Premier League season, especially after his performances were questioned last season.
A big season awaits Alli and if he doesn’t produce strong performances in a Spurs shirt then people will start questioning him.
Added with that, as Alli saw with his former teammate Kieran Trippier, if his performances do continue to dip then he may also find himself out of the England set-up.
