Tosun scored his first goal of the season as Everton beat Fulham on Saturday.

Kevin Campbell believes Cenk Tosun’s first goal of the season for Everton will give the Turkish striker some much-needed confidence after a frustrating start to the 2018-19 season.
Tosun started the match from the bench as Everton played host to Fulham on Saturday afternoon, but replaced Dom Calvert-Lewin in the 55th minute. The Toffees immediately scored following his introduction through Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The Turkey international, who joined Everton from Besiktas in January, then doubled Everton’s lead with a simple header at the back post thanks to an excellent cross from Theo Walcott.
Sigurdsson then doubled his tally to ease some of the pressure on Silva, earning Everton a 3-0 win and former Toffees captain Campbell believes Tosun’s goal will give the striker a new-found confidence.
Since joining Everton, 27-year-old Tosun has struggled to repay his £27million transfer fee (Guardian) with just six goals in 22 appearances.
Costing a whopping £4.5million per goal, Tosun still has a long way to go before he shows fans why the club splashed out on his services. It remains to be seen if the powerful striker will start against Southampton on Tuesday in the League Cup.
