Liverpool continue to be linked with Hoffenheim playmaker Kerem Demirbay.

Hoffenheim midfielder Kerem Demirbay has told Bild that he can handle being wanted by Liverpool as the Reds seemingly ramp up their interest in signing him.
The Reds beat Cardiff City 4-1 on Saturday afternoon, but many fans have concerns about Jurgen Klopp’s midfield – even after the big-money additions of Fabinho and Naby Keita.
There is a firm belief that, whilst Adam Lallana is back and winger Xherdan Shaqiri has shifted inside on occasion, Liverpool lack a playmaker having sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona earlier this year.
A host of names have been linked, and one such name is that of Hoffenheim star Demirbay, with Bild reporting that Liverpool scouted him against Lyon in the Champions League last week.
Demirbay, 25, started out with Borussia Dortmund under Klopp before heading to Hamburg in 2013, and then Hoffenheim in 2016, where he has ben starring.
The midfielder has starred under Julian Nagelsmann, notching two goals and five assists last season, as well as three assists already this season as he continues to play a key part in the Hoffenheim midfield.

A German international with two caps and one goal to his name, Demirbay could provide real creativity in the Liverpool midfield, and it’s no surprise that Klopp is keeping tabs on a player he already knows well.
Now, Demirbay has been asked about the rumours, and told Bild; “Of course I can handle that,” suggesting that he won’t let the rumours distract him – and even may hint that he feels he can handle a move to Liverpool if it comes along.
