Martin Keown has suggested to BT Sport, during their live Europa League coverage, that Arsenal’s Joe Willock looked so much better than Tottenham Hotspur’s players last night.
Tottenham struggled during their game against Antwerp and ultimately fell to a defeat.
However, Arsenal cruised past Dundalk, with Willock’s performance particularly impressive.
The youngster was given a rare starting chance and he seized the opportunity with both hands.
Willock claimed a goal and an assist, and Keown felt he showed the sort of desire that Tottenham’s fringe players lacked last night.
“We just saw a contrast with the Spurs players, who were given an opportunity and really doing nothing,” Keown said.
“The willingness was there to learn and get better. He’s desperate to get into the Arsenal team. You get that from his performance.

“He was at boiling point in that game. He wanted to play.
“Okay, Dundalk isn’t the best of opposition but tonight he was a real plus.”
Jose Mourinho was clearly fuming about his side’s defeat and cut an angry figure in his post match press conference.
Mourinho has generally rotated his side in Europe so far, but he may be less keen to leave his more trusted players on the bench from now.
Arsenal, meanwhile, have taken a commanding position in their group after winning their first two games.
