The head coach of the Kenyan national team has been lavishing praise on Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama.
The Spurs midfielder, who joined the club from Southampton in the summer, missed his nations last game against DR Congo with an injury problem but the return to international duty has his national coach on top of the moon.

Stanley Okumbi told Standard Media in Kenya just how important the Tottenham man is to his team:
“It is great to have Wanyama on the team.
“He is a leader and motivator for the other players. He is always involved in most of the action on the pitch and ensures the team gives their best.”

Wanyama is likely to captain the Harambee Stars when they take on Mozambique in a friendly tomorrow, and again when they face Liberia on Tuesday, and will hope to have a big impact on his nations chances.
Wanyama has been in excellent form for Tottenham since his move from Southampton and is looking like of the biggest bargains in the Premier League this season.
