Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly set to bring Dutch international Tete to the Premier League from Ligue 1 outfit Lyon.

A right-back will not merely be a right-back at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
With so much attacking impetus coming from the flanks in Nuno Espirito Santo’s 3-4-3 system, Wolves’ full-backs are often more advanced than any of their team-mates, stretching the pitch as wide as possible and providing thrust and quality from the wings.
Matt Doherty has taken to the role like a duck to water under the former Porto and Valencia coach, scoring three times and producing four assists in his first ever Premier League season.
And, according to El Desmarque, Doherty is set to receive some much-needed competition with Lyon’s Kenny Tete understood to be closing in on a move to the Black Country.
A £2.5 million signing from Ajax in 2017, Tete is a Dutch international who is renowned for his swashbuckling attacking style.

He is clearly a full-back steeped in Johan Cryuff’s teachings, a player who often appears far more comfortable going forward than he does going back. In just 11 appearances for Lyon this season, Tete has set up three goals for his team-mates with his marauding runs causing no end of problems for opposition defences.
On paper, he appears to be exactly what Nuno has been looking for.
