Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers should have made Kenny Miller the Gers manager instead of Graeme Murty, suggests his agent.

Rangers appointed Graeme Murty as the Ibrox club’s manager in October 2017 following the departure of Pedro Caixinha, and in December, he was given the role at the Gers for the rest of the 2017-18 season.
Although Murty started his tenure as the Rangers interim manager well, the Ibrox club failed to compete with Old Firm rivals Celtic and eventually ended up third in the Scottish Premiership.
The 43-year-old former Reading defender actually could not finish the season as the Rangers interim-manager, although he is now set to resume his role as the Gers’ Under-20 boss, according to The Scottish Sun.
Kenny Miller’s agent has suggested that Rangers should have handed the managerial role at Ibrox to the strike.
The former Celtic striker is leaving Rangers this summer, with his contract having come to an end and no new deal offered to him by the Gers.

Miller’s agent Dave Baldwin told The Scottish Sun: “During his time at Rangers, he would spend time on the training pitch helping explain things to them.
“Kenny has the drive and the desire to be successful in whatever he does and I’m sure that if he’d been appointed Rangers’ manager for six months they could have had a better end to the season.”

Kenny Miller as Rangers manager?
Miller is a vastly experienced striker who has worked with some brilliant managers in his long playing career, but appointing him in the managerial role at Rangers while he was still playing would have been a risk.
