The experienced Glasgow Rangers forward is not doing enough to support his young teammate.

Shortly after arriving at Ibrox, Rangers player Alfredo Morelos staked his claim as one of the signings of the summer, scoring six goals in his first seven league games and looking every inch a star in the making.
More recently, however, the 21-year-old has slipped into an alarming rut, failing to find the net in Rangers’ last seven Scottish Premiership games and looking a shadow of the player who rocked up at the club under former manager Pedro Caixinha.

It would be easy to blame Morelos for his missed opportunities, but the Rangers striker needs more support, with veteran Kenny Miller failing in that regard.
The 37-year-old returned to the fold under Ranger’s interim manager Graeme Murty, after falling out with Caixinha prior to the Portuguese’s dismissal, and he needs to put an arm around Morelos and guide him through this tough time.

Miller should also be doing more on the field, taking some of the goal-scoring burden and showing more in a bid to get Morelos back to his best (with his two-goal haul against Hearts his only notable contribution to date).
All strikers go through barren spells and it is worth remembering how young the Colombian is, yet Miller cannot rest on past glories and needs to do his best for Rangers to ensure they have a fighting chance of toppling Celtic in the second half of the campaign.
