Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have three fixtures before they take on their bitter rivals in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
Rangers’ Kenny Miller
Kenny Miller has set Rangers a target of building as much momentum as possible heading into their Old Firm Scottish Cup semi-final by winning all three of their games leading up to the Hampden Park showdown, the Evening Times reports.
The Gers face the Hoops twice at the end of April, looking to reach the Scottish Cup final and looking to strengthen their chances of finishing second in the Scottish Premiership.
Before those two games however, the Light Blues take on Kilmarnock, Aberdeen and Partick. And Miller has suggested that the best way to prepare for the back-to-back games is to put them to the back of their minds and instead concentrate on each upcoming fixture.
“We’ve got a semi-final to look forward to and another Old Firm game straight after that,” he said, as reported by the Evening Times.

“But we’ve got three games to take care before that and if we can go on into these games with three wins under our belts it would be a big boost and there is no reason why we can’t do that.”
With the current state of the top flight table, it seems unlikely that Pedro Caixinha’s men will have any problem concentrating on the league games in front of them.

Rangers are currently 10 points adrift of Aberdeen with 8 games to go, so may perhaps need a flawless run between now and the end of the campaign – especially including a win over the Dons – to stand a chance of finishing second in the table.
But while a poor run from their next three may leave their hopes of finishing second in tatters, it could also be turned into a positive if the Gers are able to use that as motivation to make sure that they win the Scottish Cup to make sure that their season ends on a high.
