Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers have brought Allan McGregor to Ibrox, while Kenny Miller is leaving the Gers.

Rangers have signed McGregor on a free transfer this summer following his departure from Hull City in the Championship in England at the end of the 2017-18 season.
The 36-year-old Scotland international goalkeeper started his professional club football career at Rangers and left for Besiktas in 2012.
Miller, who is leaving Rangers this summer following the end of his contract, played with McGregor at Ibrox and has praised his return to the Gers.
The 38-year-old former Celtic striker, though, has joked that he will score against the new Rangers goalkeeper next season.

The Scottish Sun quotes Miller as saying after he selected McGregor among the best five players he has played alongside in his career: “Great character, great keeper. I’ll score into him next season!”

First-choice goalkeeper for Rangers?
Wes Foderingham is the first-choice goalkeeper at Rangers at the moment, but McGregor will give him stiff competition at Ibrox next season.
The 36-year-old knows all about the pressure of playing for Rangers and is very popular among the Ibrox fans.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard will be pleased that he will have two very good goalkeepers in his team for the 2018-19 campaign.
