Celtic striker Michael Johnston was in action against Rosenborg at Celtic Park in the Europa League on Thursday.

Johnston featured for Celtic in their Europa League Group B match against Rosenborg at Celtic Park on Thursday evening.
The 19-year-old striker did not start the match, but the teenager came on as a substitute in the 58th minute.
Former Rangers and Celtic striker Miller, who played in a number of Old Firm derby matches and is now at Dundee, was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Johnston.
Miller said about Johnston on BT Sport 3 on Thursday evening (10:12pm, September 20, 2018): “I thought he was excellent when he came on, really really positive. He is very, very sharp as well.”

Promising talent
Johnston is a very talented and promising young striker, and the Scotland Under-21 international played well for Celtic against Rosenborg at Celtic Park on Thursday evening.
The Scottish youngster is essentially the third-choice striker at the Hoops at the moment, and he is not yet ready to lead the line for the Glasgow giants on a regular basis.
However, Johnston will become better and will mature if he continues to get playing time as a substitute.
