Former Glasgow Rangers forward Kenny Miller suggested that the Ibrox side have landed a gem in their latest signing.

The Gers have completed a number of deals since the previous Scottish Premiership campaign concluded, but Ejaria became the first following Gerrard’s arrival with the 20-year-old joining on a season-long loan from Liverpool.

On paper, it appears to be something of a gamble from the Light Blues. Ejaria has struggled to break into the Reds’ first-team and endured a difficult loan spell at Sunderland during the second-half of this past season – with the Black Cats ending the campaign with their second relegation in 12 months.
But Miller – who has now left Rangers, according to BBC Sport – was full of praise for the young midfielder, insisting that he could prove to be a superb signing for his old side.

“But still, do you want bigger names, do you want more experienced players who have actually done it to maybe get the fans excited?”
Ejaria will certainly have to live up to Miller’s praise if he hopes to make the most of his time at Ibrox as he is arguably competing for a spot in the team where Rangers appear to boast their most depth.
But with Miller praising him, Gerrard signing him and Liverpool handing him a new contract before his departure, it would appear that Ejaria does indeed have the tools to thrive during the coming year.
