Rangers comfortably beat Livingston to close the gap on Celtic in the race for the Scottish Premiership title.

Kenny Miller has urged Rangers to ‘find a level of consistency’ if they are to mount a Scottish Premiership title challenge following their 3-0 win over Livingston [BBC Sport] on Sunday afternoon.
Steven Gerrard’s side, who were beaten by Kilmarnock in midweek, bounced back by claiming an emphatic three points at the Tony Macaroni Arena.
That wins means that Rangers move up to second place in the Scottish Premiership table, three points behind leaders Celtic, who have a game in hand on their rivals.
BBC pundit Miller offered his honest thoughts on his former side’s title chances as he warned them to improve their consistency if they are to clinch the title.
“Rangers are very much in it but what they need to do is find a level of consistency,” Miller told BBC Sport. “You can’t win a title without stringing together a sequence of eight or nine wins.”
Ryan Jack opened the scoring for the away side when his tame shot from long-range somehow found its way through Livi goalkeeper Liam Kelly in the first half.

Minutes after the restart Ryan Kent doubled his side’s lead before star striker Alfredo Molreos cooly finished when he was put through on goal.
Before the winter break, the Gers inflicted a 1-0 defeat on their Old Firm rivals to open up the title race, but upon Scotland’s return from that three-week break, they suffered a defeat at Kilmarnock.
Now, they will turn their attention to the Scottish Cup and their clash against Cowdenbeath on Wednesday night before they host bottom-of-the-table St Mirren on home soil three days later.
