Glasgow Rangers host Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership at Ibrox on Wednesday looking to end their run of defeats.

Graeme Murty’s men have missed the chance to put themselves right on the Dons’ tails recently, suffering a loss at home to Hamilton and following that up with another defeat, this time away at Dundee last Friday night.

Aberdeen’s form has not been the most convincing either recently however, with one draw, one loss and one win coming from their last three games in the top flight. But with Derek McInnes’ men beating Kilmarnock at the weekend and still sitting second in the table, some would be forgiven for thinking that the away side have the upper hand going into the game.
However, Miller does not believe that the Gers are underdogs for Wednesday’s contest.

“I wouldn’t say favourites coming to Ibrox, but they’re in a stronger position than us,” he told Rangers’ official YouTube channel, when asked if the away side will be favourites for the game.
“They finished higher than us last season but I’d definitely expect us to put on a far better performance tomorrow night considering the size of the game and obviously what’s gone on the last few games. We’re expecting a big reaction.”
After two hugely disappointing results, this may actually be the ideal game for Rangers to head into as the players should not need any additional motivation to inspire them. The rivalry, the chance to prove a lot of their critics wrong and the opportunity to move to within three points of McInnes’ men heading into their second meeting at the weekend should arguably save Murty from having to do a particularly in-depth pre-match team-talk.
