Glasgow Rangers go into this weekend’s clash at Ibrox looking for their third win in a row.

Kenny Miller has admitted to Sky Sports that the Rangers squad have spoken frequently about their inability to win three games in a row over the last year.

The Gers go into this weekend’s Scottish Premiership clash with Ross County at the weekend off the back of back to back wins over Aberdeen – and that presents them with an opportunity to put an unwanted streak to bed.

It was December 2016 the last time Rangers won at least three games in a row despite winning two in a row on 10 occasions since. And Miller has admitted that the streak has been on the squad’s mind over the last few months.

“We have talked about it a lot over the last seven months and it would be something for the team if we can put that little stat to bed,” he told Sky Sports.

With Owen Coyle’s men enduring a run of three games without a win or even a goal, it would certainly appear that they may well be the ideal opponents for Rangers to face as they look to make it three consecutive wins.

The two wins over Aberdeen would have done their confidence the world of good, not just because of the significance of beating the Dons but also the fact that it takes the Gers up to second in the Scottish Premiership table – which is arguably where they should be looking to be this season.

So as long as they avoid allowing any complacency to creep into their game, you would imagine that Graeme Murty’s men should have too much for Ross County and should finally end the unwanted streak.
