Jordan Graham was handed his Wolverhampton Wanderers debut against Ipswich Town last weekend.
Kenny Jackett has told Wolverhampton Wanderers official website that he has seen a big improvement in Jordan Graham in training this season.
Graham was loaned out to Oxford United earlier in the campaign, where he got to experience regular competitive action for the first time in his career.
And Jackett feels that the temporary switch has helped the midfielder to kick-on in his development.
The Wolves boss says that the 20-year-old has looked very impressive in training, and that resulted in Graham being handed his first appearance for the Midlands outfit against Ipswich Town last weekend.
“I think the loan has helped him, as it has other players that have come into the side,” Jackett said.
“It’s given him some confidence and we’ve seen a difference in him training since he’s come back.
“I felt he deserved his chance and although he came off three quarters of the way through the game with slightly stiff calves I thought he contributed well.
“He was a plus point and I was pleased with him.”
Graham impressed with his first display in a Wolves shirt, but he was unable to guide his side to a victory.
Jackett’s men could only claim a 2-2 draw at Portman Road, with James Henry and Benik Afobe getting on the scoresheet.
The draw leaves Wolves sitting in 14th place in the Championship table – eight points behind the play-off places.
