The Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee grabbed his first assist for Portsmouth on Saturday.

Portsmouth manager Kenny Jackett has confirmed his interest in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Connor Ronan next season.
Ronan moved to Portsmouth in January on a six-month loan deal, reuniting with his former boss at Wolves.
The 20-year-old has made 10 appearances since then, and registered his first assist during Saturday’s 2-0 win against Oldham Athletic.
Speaking to the Portsmouth News on Tuesday, Jackett admitted he’s liked what he’s seen from Ronan so far.
“He’s a player we’re obviously interested in,” said the 56-year-old. “It’s not something we’ve discussed, but for Wolves they aren’t going to necessarily commit to it. Generally, they get all of their players back in pre-season and assess their options then.

“He’s been looking for the break to get into first-team football. He was slightly frustrated, if pleased to be at a club going in the right direction in Wolves.”
And according to Jackett, whose Portsmouth side are only five points shy of the League One play-off places, Ronan could be keen on a return to Fratton Park next season.
“You want to be there or thereabouts with the first team and, as a young player, make a mark,” he added. “He’s happy and pleased for us taking the chance on him with limited league experience. For him, Wolves are in the driving seat but I’m sure he’ll be open to it (coming back).”

Ronan has made 13 appearances for Wolves – for whom he signed in 2014 from hometown club Rochdale – however only seven of those arrived this season.
And the Ireland Under-21 star’s chances of securing first team football at Molineux next season are growing increasingly slim, with Nuno’s side on the verge of promotion to the Premier League.
