Kenny Dalglish has issued a classy reaction to a video of Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott whilst on loan last night.
Prior to Blackburn Rover’s trip to Sheffield Wednesday, Elliott, on loan at the former from Liverpool, was seen carrying a floral tribute to the 96 Reds fans who perished inside Hillsborough in 1989, with April 15 being the 32nd anniversary of the tragedy.
The 18-year-old attacker has been widely praised by fans of the Anfield club for the gesture.
And here’s how the iconic Dalglish himself reacted on Twitter last night:
Elliott, who started the game and managed 67 minutes, was unable to inspire the Championship club to victory on this occasion.
But the former Fulham gem, who joined Liverpool in the summer of 2019, has been a revelation for Rovers for much of the campaign and has managed six goals and 12 assists for them across all competitions.
Considering he only turned 18 earlier this month, it’s a stunning return and it’ll be interesting to see what Liverpool have in mind for him next term.
