Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool will contest only the second all-English Champions League final next month.

Kenny Dalglish has spoken in awe of Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp ahead of the Champions League final next month.
The duo have masterminded their teams to the European Cup final, with Spurs reaching Madrid without signing any players during the last two transfer windows and Jurgen Klopp producing an exceptional season both in the Premier League and in Europe.
One of them will leave Spain’s capital with the European Cup in hand, with Pochettino aiming for his first major trophy with the North London club and Klopp hoping to add a sixth Champions League crown to Liverpool’s trophy cabinet.
In the lead up to the final, both teams produced remarkable fightbacks and Anfield legend, Dalglish spoke about those nights and their respective managers.
“There’s been a generation of Liverpool fans that have missed out on continued success,” Dalglish told the Sunday Post. “But they are seeing something now that may turn out to be quite special. If there are success stories, Jurgen isn’t one for wanting to take the plaudits. He knows it’s a collective effort, and he is the first to acknowledge that. The Liverpool supporters absolutely love him and rightly so.
On Poch and Spurs: “For them to come back from a three-goal deficit to score three goals in the second half at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam was exceptional.
“No wonder Mauricio Pochettino was in tears at the final whistle. He deserves this success and credit to him, his staff and his players. It has all the makings of a classic game in Madrid. World football will witness two fantastic coaches going head-to-head in the showpiece occasion of European club football.”

There is no doubt that the final in Madrid is set to be a showpiece occasion for both clubs, with Klopp’s side losing to Real Madrid last season.
They will want to go one better this time around, but Pochettino and his players, who may well be underdogs for this match, will have other ideas.
Harry Kane is currently on the sidelines with an injury and getting him back fit will be paramount to Spurs’ success and whether or not they’ll lift that CL trophy.
