Speaking on the Kenn7 YouTube channel, Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish has labelled Luis Diaz as a ‘good’ player after signing for Liverpool.

The former Reds boss was asked which of his former players he would give to Jurgen Klopp if he could, and Dalglish gave a rather interesting answer.

The Scot said that he wouldn’t make any decisions for Klopp, stating that his squad is already fantastic, praising the addition of Diaz last month.

What’s Dalglish said?

The Anfield legend praised the signing of Diaz.

“I wouldn’t make any decisions for Jurgen, why would I make his decisions? He’s got good enough players already, and he’s just signed a good one as well, another one from Porto, so I don’t know which players he would be looking for,” Dalglish said.

Seal of approval

If Diaz is good enough for Dalglish then he should be good enough for any Liverpool fan.

Yes, the likes of Julian Ward, Michael Edwards and Jurgen Klopp all like the player, but Dalglish’s seal of approval is just as important as any of those.

There’s a reason that Dalglish is one of the most successful players and managers in the club’s history, and that’s because he knows the game better than almost anyone.

If Dalglish think Diaz is a good signing then we’re sure that he’ll live up to expectations at Anfield.
