Kenedy should already be Newcastle United’s number one summer target

Kenedy has been seriously impressive since arriving on loan at Newcastle United from Chelsea.

Martin Dubravka may want a move to Newcastle United, but it would be even more impressive if Rafael Benitez’s side were able to keep hold of Kenedy in the summer.

Dubravka and Kenedy have both made bright starts at St. James’ Park since arriving on loan in the January transfer window.

The Daily Mirror have already suggested that Newcastle want to make Dubravka’s move permanent, but they should be making plans to bring Kenedy in for the long-term too.

The Chelsea winger has looked like Newcastle’s brightest attacking threat is the bulk of the games he has played so far, with his performances highly impressive.

Kenedy has already shown his dribbling ability, but his power and work-rate makes him a valuable asset.

Kenedy is only 21 and still has room to improve, and he would be a player Newcastle could build their team around for years to come.

Chelsea may not be too keen on letting the Brazilian leave, but he is finally getting a taste of playing regular first-team football.

And if there is any chance for Newcastle to make Kenedy’s transfer permanent, he should already be their top target for the summer.
