The entire NBA is awaiting 41-year-old LeBron James’ decision ahead of the upcoming season.
After an eight-year stint and an NBA Championship, LeBron James officially ended his ties with the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason.
Earlier in his career, James has always been rather quick with his decision about his next destination. This time around, James is taking his time.
There are still a few teams that have been reported as the most probable suitors, and NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins seems to have an idea which team sits at the top of the list.

Kendrick Perkins names Miami Heat as LeBron James’ most-likely destination
Since becoming an analyst, Perkins is mostly known for his straightforward takes about the NBA. But former player-turned-analyst is now donning an insider role amid James’ much-anticipated free agency decision.
Keeping that in mind, Big Perk recently claimed that the Miami Heat are currently at the ‘top’ of LeBron’s list of most-likely next team.
“I heard that Miami is at the top of the list. … If Miami wants some real motion, Giannis has already done his press conference; he has to pick up the damn phone. That’s what LeBron James wants,” Perkins said.
Perkins wants the Heat’s newly acquired superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, to make a personal pitch to the King.
If what Perkins said is true, it shouldn’t take much convincing for James to sign on the dotted line. After all, LBJ won two out of his four NBA Championships while being a member of the Heat earlier in his career.
