Roofe, who can operate as a winger or as a striker, has said that Leeds can get win automatic promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.
The 24-year-old attacker has been on the books of Leeds since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Oxford United for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £3 million.
The former West Bromwich Albion prospect has scored three goals and provided one assist in six Championship starts for Leeds so far this season.
“Why not?” Roofe told The Yorkshire Evening Post when asked about Leeds securing automatic promotion. “Our goal is to go one better than last season. Doesn’t matter how we go up – automatic or play offs.”
