The Leeds United ace netted only three times last season.
Leeds United attacker Kemar Roofe has revealed to LUTV that he is determined to “kick on” next season after getting to grips with the Championship last term.
The 24-year-old joined Leeds in a £3 million deal from Oxford United last summer, according to BBC Sport, but struggled at times to justify such a lofty transfer fee.
Roofe, who was mostly played on the wing under Garry Monk, scored three times and grabbed seven assists in 42 Championship appearances – 28 of those were starts.

Nevertheless, the ex-Oxford striker is a popular figure among the Whites fans, and Roofe is hopeful that he will get better during the 2017-18 campaign.
Asked by LUTV what he’s focused on next season, Roofe said: “To do better than I did last season, both individually and as a team.
“Obviously last season I got my experience and got used to it [the Championship] and this season [I’ll] hopefully kick on.”
Of course, £3 million is a lot of money and although his level of performance was often excellent, his statistics could have been better.
Three goals in 42 games is not exemplary, but the attacker might be hoping for more central opportunities next season under new boss Thomas Christiansen, either as a partner to Chris Wood or a plan-b option.
