Kemar Roofe has enjoyed a brilliant December so far, with four goals coming in five games for the Leeds United striker.

While Leeds still need to face Birmingham before this month is finished, there is no question that December is set to go down as an excellent period for Thomas Christiansen’s side with four wins and one draw taking the Whites to fifth in the Championship.
A number of players seem to have stepped up their game for the Elland Road outfit this month, but perhaps one player who appears to have found another level is Kemar Roofe.

Roofe has impressed as a central striker for much of December, filling in up front from when Caleb Ekuban sustained an injury in the win over Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
The highlight of the month for Roofe certainly came against the Hoops, as he scored a hat-trick to inspire Leeds to a 3-1 win, while he also added to his tally with the winning goal in the Boxing Day victory over Burton Albion.

That has meant that, with one game to go, the Leeds forward now tops the Championship goalscoring charts for the month – and it is a name that Whites fans probably do not remember fondly who sits alongside the 24-year-old at the top of the list.
| Team | Goals | Appearances | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Modou Barrow | Reading | 4 | 5 |
| Kemar Roofe | Leeds | 4 | 5 |
| Gary Madine | Bolton | 3 | 5 |
| Jamie Paterson | Bristol C | 3 | 4 |
| Lasse Vibe | Brentford | 3 | 3 |
Modou Barrow spent the second-half of last season on loan with Leeds, but failed to impress during his time with the Yorkshire club and his return to parent club Swansea City was met with little disappointment.
Barrow – who scored the winner when Reading travelled to Elland Road earlier in the campaign – has also enjoyed a brilliant December, scoring four times for the Royals.
Roofe will be hoping to add to his tally when Leeds face Birmingham on Saturday, while Reading’s final game of the year comes away at Barnsley.
