Leeds attacker says it is time to move on from their defeat to Cardiff.

Leeds player Kemar Roofe gets a shot in at goal despite the challenge of Sean Morrison during the Sky Bet Championship match between Cardiff City and Leeds United at Cardiff City Stadium...

Leeds United were left reeling by Cardiff City on Tuesday night, but their players are now keen to sweep the defeat behind them.

Kemar Roofe started the game up front for the Whites in place of Pierre-Michel Lasogga, with Leeds beaten 3-1.

Another away game awaits for Leeds, against rivals Sheffield Wednesday.

24 hours after the defeat, Roofe posted a message on Twitter referencing the loss, making clear that he wants to move on from it.

The good aspect of the packed Championship schedule is that there is rarely a moment to dwell on a defeat or get carried away by a win as another game is quickly on the horizon.

The upcoming international break does provide some respite, and Leeds will not want to go into it on the back of two successive losses.

Sheffield Wednesday have just lost two games in a row themselves, and this is a chance for Leeds to take advantage of their vulnerability.
