Leeds United lost to Sheffield Wednesday at the Hillsborough Stadium in the Championship before the international break.

The Whites suffered a 3-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday away from home at the Hillsborough Stadium in the Championship just before the two-week international break.
The loss to the Owls followed a 3-1 defeat to Cardiff City away from home at the Cardiff City Stadium in the league.
Roofe, who can operate as a striker or as a winger, has admitted his frustration at the international break coming at the time that it did.
The 24-year-old former Oxford United star has also outlined the areas in which Leeds have been working in training.

“We’ve been working on winning aerial battles and our defensive shape,” Roofe told The Yorkshire Evening Post. “We’ll put it right on Saturday.
“I’m enjoying my football. We’re attacking with a bit more freedom and we’re linking up well together.
“The international break was frustrating, but it also gave us time to reflect. We’re confident. We know what we can do. Hopefully we can go one better than last season.”

Leeds will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Reading at Elland Road in the Championship.
The Whites will be determined to pick up all three points from the encounter, and given the quality of players they have, they should win the match and get back on track for a top-six finish in the league.
