Kemar Roofe has outlined where his future lies beyond the January transfer window.

Roofe has enjoyed a brilliant season with Marcelo Bielsa’s side, scoring 14 goals for the league leaders. His form has unsurprisingly not gone unnoticed as Premier League sides look to bolster their striker options.
The Daily Mirror reported that Newcastle were keen, while the Sunday Mirror (4/11; page 66) also suggested in November that the likes of Crystal Palace, Southampton and Wolves were monitoring the 26-year-old.
The rumours have, publicly at least, seemingly gone cold as the window reaches its conclusion. Nevertheless, Roofe’s comments on his future will be very welcome as Leeds look to capitalise on their current position in the table.

“I’m going nowhere. I want to help get Leeds into the Premier League. That is my big ambition of this season,” he told The Sun. “This is an incredible club and we all want to deliver for the fans.”
It is arguably a big statement regarding the direction that Leeds are going in that there appears to be so little discussion about their key players leaving Elland Road during this window.

In the years where Leeds seemed to be unable to move themselves away from the mid-table scene in the second tier, it seemed to become a regular occurrence for the club to lose a key player in the winter window.
But with the progress that the Whites have made, particularly this year, it is no surprise that leaving the club is not an option that their key men are considering.
