Leeds United’s Kemar Roofe is out of Wednesday’s clash with Derby County.

Leeds United take on Derby County in the Championship play-offs on Wednesday night, but they’ll have to do it without Kemar Roofe.
The Whites travelled to Pride Park on Saturday evening for the first leg of their Championship play-off semi-final, and came away with a precious 1-0 win.
Jack Harrison’s superb second half cross picked out Roofe at the back post, and he fired the ball home to give Leeds a 1-0 victory.
It didn’t come without its controversy though, as Jayden Bogle was brought down in a challenge with Harrison, and referee Craig Pawson pointed to the spot – only to then reverse the decision.
Derby will be seeking revenge at Elland Road on Wednesday night, and their hopes have been boosted somewhat by the injury to Saturday’s goalscorer Roofe.

Roofe was substituted with around 10 minutes of normal time to play, and it has now emerged that he has suffered a calf injury and will subsequently miss Wednesday’s game at Elland Road.
Roofe will hope to be back for the final if Leeds make it that far, and took to Twitter tonight to send a message to fans, admitting he’s gutted to miss out but will be back stronger when he’s fit again.
