Kemar Roofe posts a message after Leeds United’s latest win.

Leeds United's Kemar Roofe celebrates scoring his side's equalising goal with Jack Clarke at Elland Road on October 27, 2018 in Leeds, England.

Leeds United fans on Twitter are joking that Kemar Roofe could be set to receive a ban from the Football Association after what he posted on Instagram.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side beat Sheffield United 1-0 at Bramall Lane for a third successive Championship win on Saturday.

Afterwards, the Leeds striker posted a photo of his jersey being pulled inside the box by John Egan – who was already booked – but referee Oliver Langford did not award a penalty.

Roofe also posted the caption ‘standard procedure’ on the picture, intimating that the Whites have been hard done by in decisions – and non-decisions – from Championship officials throughout the campaign.

The 26-year-old’s Leeds team-mate Pontus Jansson was hit with a one-match retrospective ban by the FA in October for swearing on live television and questioning referee Jeremy Simpson after a draw with Brentford.

And some fans of the Elland Road club have joked on Twitter that Roofe could be set for the same treatment by England’s governing body.

The West Yorkshire side moved top of the Championship temporarily, before Norwich City, who beat Rotherham United, usurped them at the summit once more, pushing Bielsa’s side into second.
