Kemar Roofe has told the Super 6 podcast that he always feels ‘nervous’ watching Leeds United nowadays.
Roofe left Leeds after one season under Marcelo Bielsa, when they failed to earn promotion through the play offs.
The striker had been Leeds chief goal-getter that season, but he could not quite get the club over the line and back to the Premier League.
Leeds ultimately sold Roofe to Anderlecht, before he moved to join Rangers more recently.
The 28-year-old still keeps a keen eye on his former club’s progress though.
And he says that he gets very anxious when watching them play now.
“They have, definitely [been a breath of fresh air],” he enthused.

“I love watching them play even though I get nervous watching because you don’t know what’s going to happen, but you know it’s going to be entertaining.”
Thankfully for Leeds, despite the uncertainty over their results, they have competed well since their return to the top flight.
Leeds have moved into 11th place in the Premier League table after beating Fulham in their last fixture before the international break, and return to action with a game against Sheffield United in two weeks’ time.
Roofe, meanwhile, is unlikely to be too disappointed at missing out on the success at Elland Road, as he has helped deliver Rangers the league title in Scotland this season.
