The 24-year-old former Oxford United star has summed up playing at Elland Road in one word – “exciting”.

“It’s exciting,” Roofe told Radio Yorkshire when asked about playing at Elland Road. “It’s hard to explain the feeling, but you just get an extra buzz.”

Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in England and are doing well in the Championship at the moment.

Elland Road is one of the most difficult grounds to go to in England, as the fans are very vocal and always back their team.

The Whites have been getting over 30,000 fans for their home matches this season, and the players must be very excited to perform in front of so many supporters.

Leeds fans should be optimistic of a very successful 2017-18 campaign.
