The new Leeds United striker has been impressed with the other recent additions to the squad.
New Leeds United signing Kemar Roofe has been speaking to the club’s official website after becoming the Whites’ sixth signing of the summer.
Roofe arrived at Elland Road from Oxford United and joins Marcus Antonsson, Rob Green, Kyle Bartley, Hadi Sacko and Matt Grimes in Garry Monk’s new-look squad.

While discussing his move to Elland Road, Roofe commented on his fellow new arrivals; an influx of new faces that caught of a lot of fans by surprise with the sheer speed with which they all arrived.
“You can tell there’s something exciting happening here with the signings we’re making,” Roofe told leedsunited.com. “They’re all good signings.
“I can’t wait to start getting to know the squad and playing football again.”

Roofe scored 25 goals and provided 12 assists in 49 appearances for Oxford last season and he is one of the most exciting additions to the Leeds playing staff in quite some time.
At 23, he has years to reach his peak but he is also ready to make an instant impact on the Championship and potentially fire the Whites back into the top tier in Monk’s first season at the helm.
Despite adding six players to his squad already, it would not be a surprise if Monk makes more additions before the transfer window finally slams shut.
