Leeds United are currently in fourth place in the Championship table.
Kemar Roofe has told the Daily Star that the secret behind Leeds United’s success this season is how hard they have worked on the training ground.
Leeds have been in remarkable form over the past two months, and they have accelerated up the Championship standings.
The Whites are now in fourth place in the second tier, after they beat Aston Villa 2-0 in their latest outing.
And Roofe said: “The secret to our success this season has been the work that we put in on the training ground. We work hard and the gaffer makes sure we put 100 per cent in.”
Roofe scored Leeds’ first goal against Villa, to set the Whites on their way to collecting the three points.
The 23-year-old has made a slow start to his career at Elland Road, but appears to be finding his feet after a summer move from Oxford United now.
Roofe is now likely to start for Leeds in their next match, which comes against Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday evening.
If Leeds can pick up the victory at the AMEX Stadium, they would move up to third place in the Championship standings, and to within four points of the automatic promotion places.
