Kemar Roofe can’t imagine what Leeds United’s stadium will be like next season if promotion comes.

Leeds fans celebrate their team's victory during the Sky Bet Championship match between Leeds United and Derby County at Elland Road on November 29, 2014 in Leeds, England.

Kemar Roofe has admitted to The Sun that he can’t even imagine what the atmosphere will be like at Elland Road next season if Leeds United win promotion to the Premier League.

High-flying Leeds could take another big step toward automatic promotion by beating second-placed Norwich City in West Yorkshire this evening.

The Whites have a six-point cushion in the top two at the moment, but that could extend to nine if they win and Sheffield United and West Bromwich Albion both lose.

Elland Road is famous for the atmosphere that United fans drum up during match days, with 37,000 fans packing out the stadium on a regular basis this season.

And Roofe, a £3 million signing in 2016 [Yorkshire Post], says that the place will be ‘absolutely rocking’ on a bigger scale next term if Marcelo Bielsa’s side go all the way this time.

He told The Sun: “I want to help this team get back into the Premier League. The atmosphere at Elland Road has been incredible this season and I can’t even imagine how it could be better.

“But if this team gets into the Premier League, it’s going to be absolutely rocking.”

This evening’s game is much bigger for Norwich. If Leeds lose then it’s a setback, but it doesn’t derail their promotion bid, but if the Canaries lose then they could potentially slip out of the top two and that’ll be a big psychological blow, when you consider how good they have been.
