Leeds United fans thank Kemar Roofe for his effort.

Kemar Roofe scored for Leeds on Tuesday evening and at one stage had the team on course for their first away win of 2018.
It was not meant to be, with Leeds giving up a 1-0 lead against Preston to lose 3-1.
Leeds’ players stayed quiet on social media after the loss, seemingly unable to face the backlash of vitriol from frustrated fans.

Roofe was making his return after a short spell out of the side, and he broke the team’s Twitter silence, becoming the first to message, almost 24 hours after the game.
It was a brief message, and fans appreciated him fronting up.
Perhaps he was lucky he scored, and he has missed the previously shambolic games, but Roofe got off lightly.
