Kelechi Iheanacho is the talk of the town in the Premier League at the moment, and while Leicester fans are over the moon with his transformation, his great form could mean positive news for Arsenal.
Indeed, the Gunners looked set to embark on a transfer tussle with Leicester City this summer over the signing of Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.
Both clubs have been strongly linked and with Edouard entering the final year of his Celtic contract, a move away from Glasgow looks inevitable for the Frenchman.

For the longest time Leicester seemed to be leading the race, but with Iheanacho emerging as a star, the question has to be asked, do they really need Edouard?
The Foxes have known for a while that their striker position has been a problem due to the fact Jamie Vardy’s not getting any younger, but Iheanacho seems to have provided the Midlands club with an in-house solution.
It’s hard to imagine that Iheanacho’s incredible form hasn’t swayed Brendan Rodgers’ view on signing a new striker in the summer, and if that is the case, Arsenal have a much clearer path to bringing Edouard in.
Of course, other clubs could come in, and Leicester could even continue their pursuit. After all, Rodgers has worked very well with Edouard in the past.
However, Iheanacho’s good form could see Leicester take a step back in the Eduoard race, and if that is the case, it could have a seriously positive repercussion at Arsenal if they’re given a route to signing the Celtic hitman.
Edouard would be a fantastic addition for Arsenal, and Iheanacho’s incredible recent form could give them a golden opportunity to go out and get him.
