Aston Villa have reportedly decided that they want to sell Mile Jedinak at the end of the season.

Keith Wyness has issued an emphatic response on Twitter when asked by a fan whether Aston Villa are planning to sell Mile Jedinak at the end of the season.

A report from The Sun suggested that the Villans had big plans for the summer, and part of that process would involve Steve Bruce allowing some of the higher earners to move on.

One such player is Jedinak, according to The Sun, due to the fact that he earns top flight money at Villa Park, much to the surprise of the Villa faithful.

The 32-year-old may be approaching the twilight of his career and may be earning significant money, but it is fair to say that he has made a major impression since arriving from Crystal Palace last summer.

He has arguably been their most reliable player this season, and has not only made an impact in the middle of the park, but has also shown in recent weeks that he could be an excellent option at centre-back, having been a key part of the side that has kept a staggering six clean sheets in their last seven games.

Unsurprisingly therefore, Villa’s chief executive Wyness has seemingly not given the rumours much time when he was asked about them on Twitter.
