Aston Villa won against Birmingham City in the Championship at the weekend.

Aston Villa CEO Keith Wyness has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Birmingham City at the weekend.

Villa returned to winning ways in the Championship on Sunday afternoon with a narrow 1-0 victory over Birmingham at Villa Park.

Gabriel Agbonlahor’s goal midway through the second half proved to be the difference between the two sides.

Wyness has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win for the Villans against the Blues.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon, hosts Villa had 49% of the possession, took four shots of which one was on target, and earned one corner, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Birmingham had 51% of the possession, took six shots of which one was on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.

Villa are 12th in the Championship table at the moment with 61 points from 44 matches, while Birmingham are only two points above the relegation zone.

Steve Bruce’s side will return to action this coming weekend when they take on Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park in the Championship.
