Former Wolves defensive midfielder Andrews has been impressed with how the team have done so far, but he has expressed his worry about the players coping with the fixture congestion over the festive period.
Andrews told Sky Sport: “I would worry about – you have only got to look at the Burton game, they had six Portuguese starters. You just don’t know how they are going to deal with the fixture congestion over Christmas.”
Wolves signed a number of players in the summer transfer window many of whom will have not experienced a season without a break during the festive period.
There could be an issue with the players struggling with the fixtures during the festive period, but Wolves have a large squad, and the fans should be optimistic that the team will finish in the top two of the Championship this season.
