Leeds United won against Barnsley in the Championship last weekend.

Leeds United returned to winning ways at the weekend, as they got the better of Barnsley 2-0 away from home at Oakwell in the Championship.
The West Yorkshire outfit headed into the match last Saturday afternoon on the back of a 4-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home at the Molineux Stadium in the league.
First-half goals from Samuel Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski saw the Whites pick up all three points from the encounter.

Former Wolverhampton Wanderers defensive midfielder Keith Andrews was following the match for Sky Sports, and he was impressed with the performance of 25-year-old winger Alioski, who joined Leeds from Lugano in the summer transfer window.
Andrews said about Alioski on Sky Sports Football last Saturday afternoon (2:41pm, November 25, 2017) during the post-match coverage of the Championship game between Barnsley and Leeds: “This lad has real quality. He is a top, top technician.”
Former Leeds midfielder David Prutton added: “It’s not just the way he plays, it’s the attributes that he has got and brings to the team.”

Alioski has made 17 appearances in the Championship for Leeds so far this season, scoring five goals and providing three assists in the process.
The win against Barnsley means that Leeds are back on track for a top-six finish in the Championship this campaign.
What Thomas Christiansen’s side now need to do is put together a run of positive results and move back into the playoff positions.
