Leeds United and Aston Villa won their first-leg ties against Derby County and West Bromwich Albion respectively.

Leeds United and Aston Villa are in the driving seats in the Championship playoff semi-final ties against Derby County and West Bromwich Albion respectively.
On Saturday, Villa came from a goal down to get the better of West Brom 2-1 at Villa Park in the first leg.
On the same day, Leeds won 1-0 against Derby away from home at the Pride Park Stadium to hold an advantage over the Rams heading into the second leg.
West Brom will host Villa at The Hawthorns in the second leg on Tuesday evening, while on Wednesday evening, Leeds will lock horns with Derby at Elland Road.
The Baggies will be without the suspended Dwight Gayle for the match, and that will give the Villans a huge advantage.
As for Leeds, the away win combined with the passionate support they have at Elland Road will make it very tough for Derby.

Former West Brom defensive midfielder Keith Andrews believes that Villa and Leeds will go through to the final, and ex-Villa and Derby striker Darren Bent is of the same opinion.
Andrews said on Sky Sports Football on Saturday night (9:57pm, May 11, 2019) when asked which two teams will contest the playoff final: “Villa-Leeds.”
Bent added: “Yeah, I agree.”
