Tottenham have moved for Jean-Michael Seri, but should Liverpool get involved too after failing in their efforts to sign Naby Keita?
Liverpool have been pushing hard to sign Red Bull Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita, without success.
The Times report the Reds have had a £66 million offer rejected for the Bundesliga ace, with Red Bull determined not to sell.
The Reds are reported to be considering their options, The Mirror report, and top of their list should be Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri.

Like Keita he is a box-to-box midfielder who can weigh in with goals. Last season he scored seven times and provided nine assists.
By comparison Keita scored eight goals and provided seven assists.
Seri helped Nice finish in third place in Ligue 1 last season, even leading the division at one stage.
Seri is attracting interest from Tottenham Hotspur, with Eurosport France reporting this week the North London side had made a somewhat derisory offer of just £13.3 million.

Nice want more, a lot more. The 25-year-old has a release clause in his contract at £35.8 million (40 million Euros).
But as Liverpool’s efforts to sign Naby Keita show, this is a fee they can afford.
It is not a case of settling for second best, Seri is simply an alternative, and one who could hit new heights playing under Jurgen Klopp.
