The talented Aston Villa youngster believes he can fill the void left by injured striker.

Aston Villa starlet Keinan Davis has revealed that he doesn’t feel under additional pressure after being asked to step in up front for the injured Jonathan Kodjia.
Kodjia, who scored 19 goals in 36 Championship appearances last season, is set for several months on the sidelines as he has to undergo further surgery on his injured ankle.
Davis, who was previously often playing as a support striker, is now leading the line for Steve Bruce’s side and is relishing the additional responsibility that he has been afforded.
Davis told the club’s official website: “I’m leading the line now with Jonathan Kodjia out through injury, but I don’t really feel the pressure.

“The increased game time can only be a good thing for me; it means I’ll get more chances to show what I can do.
“My next target is to remain consistent and score some more goals.”
Davis’ overall performances have been rather impressive, but, as the 19-year-old acknowledges, he does need to start becoming more prolific in front of goal.

So far this season Davis has found the net twice in 15 Championship appearances and he hasn’t scored in his last eight games.
The prospect will hope to end that barren run when Villa return to action on Saturday with a home game against Ipswich Town.
The main aim for Davis will be to impress sufficiently to convince Bruce that he doesn’t need to bring in a new striker when the transfer window re-opens in January.
