Tony Cascarino has claimed that ‘most clubs’ would want to keep Aston Villa and Newcastle transfer target, Yves Bissouma, as he told talkSPORT.
The former striker seemingly expressed his surprise at the suggestion that Brighton are willing to sell their star midfielder this summer.
If that’s the case, then those at the Amex Stadium have the big pockets of Villa and Newcastle waiting in the wings to sign him up because they are keen.
The summer transfer window hasn’t officially opened yet, but Villa have already brought in some new faces, including Boubacar Kamara from Marseille on a free transfer.
Could Bissouma follow suit? Well, only time will tell, as Cascarino simply stated that most teams would ‘keep’ someone of Bissouma’s talents and not be willing to sell, which was reported by talkSPORT journalist, Alex Crook.
“The interesting one is the Bissouma one at Brighton,” said Cascarino. “Most clubs would go ‘we are keeping him, we are keeping him’.
“But they (Brighton) are prepared to listen to offers?!”

BISSOUMA WOULD ELEVATE BOTH NEWCASTLE AND VILLA
The main aim for both Villa and Newcastle is to secure European football and maintain it for the long term.
Everyone talks about these ‘projects’ and, at the end of the day, it requires patience and more talk on the field than off it.
Someone like Bissouma would certainly help, both Villa and Newcastle’s cause and elevate their sides.
So, it’s a transfer story to watch out for this summer, that’s for sure.
