Wolverhampton Wanderers currently have two of their current squad on permanent deals that are set to expire this summer.

While Wolves’ relegation fears will probably mean that Paul Lambert will refuse to look beyond the side’s next game, the club’s hierarchy may be beginning to consider which players should remain at Molineux next season and which should be shipped on.
Part of that process is deciding what to do with the players whose permanent contracts come to an end this summer. Mike Williamson
The 33-year-old’s time with Wolves since joining permanently has been plagued by injury, meaning that he has made just two appearances in the Championship this term. The veteran may be a useful squad member but it is difficult to imagine that he will have too great a role to play on the pitch next season if he stuck around.

George Saville
George Saville may not have enjoyed the best season and has certainly not been a key part of Lambert’s plans this term, but there is no doubt that he is a good player to have amongst the squad due to his versatility. Saville has played in a variety of positions this term, and at 23, he should continue to get better for the next few years.
