With Aston Villa looking to be on course for mid-table mediocrity in the Championship this season, Steve Bruce may already be beginning to turn his attention to his plans for the summer, including considering who he is going to keep and which players he will look to move on.

One of the key decisions will be which players whose deals expire this summer will be offered fresh terms. With that in mind, here is HITC Sport’s verdict on the two players (via transfermarkt) who will be out of contract this summer unless a new deal is offered…

Mark Bunn

Mark Bunn has featured in a handful of games this season, but has predominantly been the Villans’ backup stopper. With Sam Johnstone only on loan and earning mixed reviews, while Pierluigi Gollini has also struggled, it may be an idea for Villa to hold onto the 32-year-old for another year.
