Ian Wright has said on Match of the Day on BBC One that Everton should not sell Anthony Gordon amid reported interest from Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The Arsenal legend has pointed out that Gordon proved his worth to Everton with his goal and performance against Brentford away from home in the Premier League at the weekend.
The 21-year-old winger found the back of the net in the 24th minute.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Everton winger Gordon has been linked with Chelsea and Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
90min have reported that Chelsea have made an offer to Premier League rivals Everton of £50 million guaranteed and paid in instalments, plus a a further £10m in add-ons.
CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs reported on Twitter last week that Tottenham are keen on Gordon and are willing to pay £35 million for him.

Ian Wright on Everton winger and Tottenham Hotspur target Anthony Gordon
Wright said about Gordon on Match of the Day on BBC One, as transcribed by The Express: “[His goal] probably should make Everton more determined to keep him.
“Because judging by what they have got at the moment, they are going to need everything they have because they look like they were holding on, very much so.”
Could a transfer happen?
In our view, an offer of £50-£60 million could be very tempting to Everton, and Anthony Gordon could well be on his way out of Goodison Park.
Gordon is only 21, and getting even £50 million for a player of that age would be good business for any club.
